Tarragon

Tarragon is a herb also known as “dragon herb.” Similar to wormwood, it is one of the “four finnes” herbs of French cooking and is used in its cuisine in chicken, lasagna, fish and egg dishes. It is also a component of Bernaise sauce and is used in soft drinks as a flavoring in Eastern European nations. You can also add it to vinegar to give it a nice flavor.

Garden pests don’t like the taste or odor of tarragon, so many people use it for that purpose.
